Road traffic accidents are the biggest risk to international travelers visiting the Bahamas.  According to OSAC 2019, serious road traffic accidents increased by 29%.  The last significant incident resulted in a “mass casualty” response, when a tour bus carrying 32 travelers was involved in an incident.
