Keith Wallace is the former Vice President of Global Security for Marriott, the world’s largest hospitality company. In this role he led a team of security professionals, based around the world, and was responsible for all aspects of security operations, investigations, threat intelligence, security design, crisis response, executive protection, and special risks. Mr. Wallace had security oversight for all the company’s businesses, including 34 brands in 142 countries.
Mr. Wallace developed the first GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) in the company’s history and designed and implemented its Executive Protection Program; he was also the lead for all kidnap and ransom, extraction, medical evacuation, and repatriation incidents. He holds high-level clearances from both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security.
An accomplished speaker, Mr. Wallace has presented to the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, Europe and Africa Command of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, the Joint Chiefs Command Symposium, and The Greater Business Travel Association. He served as the Co-Chair of the Real Estate Round Table Commercial Facilities Sector and has been recognized and received commendations from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Secret Service, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Scotland Yard, and the Montgomery County Police for his work with their agencies. He is the recipient of the Thomas G. Davis Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hospitality Lawyer Association.
